Are Any Of You Having Oil Leaks From The Valve Cover?

My Street Twin just clocked 3000 miles and I noticed that the valve cover is leaking oil and puddling in the crevices of the cylinder on both sides. I took it back to the dealer and they said they replaced the gasket but I took it on a 150 mile trip this weekend and it is leaking again. I am just wondering if anyone else is having this issue, and should I just check the bolts every 500 miles or does my Triumph think it's a Harley?

Hmmm, I just picked up my ST today and asked about the $300USD/500 miles first service interval, that some guys feel as though it's a rip off.

The mech said he would think so, too, except that he knows what they do. They replace the half-and-half engine oil with oil squeezed from the facial pores of Indonesian virgins, lol, and that they also do a detailed engine cover removal/check to make sure some...oil seals are seated properly. He said that if that isn't done at the 500-mile service, there's a good chance a new ST may have oil leaks at a later date.

Would any of this be applicable to your situation?
