April showers

This picture is no joke. This is what was going on last night and into today here on the coast. Others may have been hit harder.
We knew it was coming, but that doesn't make it any easier to take - in April for the love of Pete
15-20cm (6-8") of snow. I just finished 45 minutes of snow shoveling pleasure

OOOOH, Rocky...…………….I hate the sight, smell and feel of that stuff!! Hang in there!! Hoping it's all done and over with by the time we return from Florida, this weekend. Sandy and I will be having dinner with "our Carl" and his lovely wife Mabel this evening......he's doing great.

We were supposed to get that much as well, but we only got about 5-8 cms of the white slime. Still had to plow it and put up with the slushy, sloppy aftermath. Another bit coming tonight as well. 2-6 or 5-10 cms. Who knows. Damned meteorologists can't get their crap together. So much had already melted. But nooooooooo, Mother nature said "I ain't done with you yet".

That is exactly why I live in Florida. I will put up with the summer heat and humidity over the snow, ice, and slush any day. Mabel and I are looking forward to dinner with Jim and Sandy this evening. But we hate that it is goodbye for another year.
