Did anyone get any cool Christmas presents from Santa? If you got something you're willing to tell the rest of us about ( no Carl.....we don't want to hear you got a Buns of Steel....lol! ), tell us here.

My daughter got me a couple classic Triumph t-shirts and a vintage hockey sweater. I got the book "Killing Kennedy". And my son surprised me with a nice Android Tablet (which I'm posting this with now) and a gizmo that clips onto it so you can lean it on a stand upright or on it's side.

Hey fellers, look at what Sandy Clods brung me for the Bonneville!!!
I knew if I left enough specific and detailed notes around that "he" would see them.
But it could have been that very pleading, begging and impassioned letter I sent to the North Pole too :y2:
Anyway, these are a lovely pair of Ikons TUP TUP
Bonnie is going to love me!!

I didn't get anything a fancy or sweet as AJ and Rocky but I'm really going to enjoy my new Tourmaster Transition 2 jacket. No more trying to ride with my mesh jacket in all this cold weather we have around here. :y2:

I also scored a copy of a book I've wanted. I used Rocky's method on this one. . . Hints & notes left around and a letter to the fat boy. Oh yeah, the book is "Motorcyle Journeys Through The American South" and it looks better than I was expecting.

Plus I scored a blue ray copy of "Act of Valor" which to me was the best movie of 2012.

The big surprise was a pair of Slider Cargo Pants from my sister in law. TUP

I think you did pretty well TUP
Those Tourmaster jackets are great - an amazing value for the price. I have a Tourmaster and love it.
If I'm wearing the TM I usually don't bother taking a rain jacket. I've ridden in the rain with the TM and it's waterproof. The outer shell will eventually absorb water, but the inner liner keeps you dry. I think you will like it very much.

Before last Christmas I convinced all family and friends no presents for people over 12 years old. This was our second year and it's now accepted as the new norm. The pressure taken off in that pre Christmas shopping period is great. If I have a Christmas wish list I'll just go out and buy exactly what I want, no disappointments.

The other side of the coin is I don't have anything to tell you blokes about so I'm a bit left out.
Hey us mean old tightwads can all sit in the corner and mutter about saving money. :y10:

My wife says I'm hard to buy for, if I want something I usually just go get it. I usually end up with some gift cards.

I got my boyfriend an airplane flying lesson........he got me an engagement ring which he gave to me on our Christmas ski trip in the mountains :)

Congrats Rbeans. :y2:

Otherwise, I am in the corner with you. Gifts are for kids. I did get Shannon a little something....because even when women say "no gifts" you BETTER get a gift a damn good one...or else. lol. And she broke "rule" and got me a really cool ATARI "Flashback" video game. Single console pre loaded (no cartridges) with all the popular video games of the late 70's and early 80's. I played Space Invaders for hours :y2:

Wow!!! Major congratulations are in order!!

The question is....does this guy ride a Triumph or not???? :)

No Triumph yet, he's ridden mine and loves it. I actually just got him into riding last May so he's been riding under a year and had only ridden a a few months when we left Edmonton and did Hwy 101 from Washington to San Fran, so he's a trooper. Has a Vstrom 650 now and is looking at getting either a BMW or Triumph.....I'm pushing for the Tiger.

Yes, a big congratulations from Australia also.

Now, ya gotta tell him the real answer to his big question swings on his decision between the BMW or Triumph. If he picks the correct brand the girl comes with it, pick the wrong one and he can ride all of the way to Germany by himself.

Congrats Rbeans. :y2:

Well in the two weeks before Christmas I got me a GoPro 3 Black and she got her a Husqvarna ride on mower, so did we brake the rule, or is the getting for yourself what our new rules are about.:y15:

And while I'm at it, for the first time today "Bah Humbug" for Christmas 2013. :y2:
