Thanks Carl.
I have had a hard day, dealing with real estate agents and my pension fund.
A couple of whiskys and a few ice cubes told me to unwind.

Do you know why the photos failed?

I sure hope your pension fund fared better than some of my investments!!!

About a year back I took 99% of my assets out of my industry managed fund and into a self managed fund. It was a no brainer, they were standing still (and have since gone backwards). I went into bank term deposits @ about 8.6%. Today my self managed fund purchased the house next door to my mother's. Hard work for me over the last few weeks, but it will have a big payday when the world normalises, till then the rental income is OK.
Can you believe this is coming from a red flag waving lefty

You capitalist, you! :y114: You made a smart move and I am glad you were successful. I was not as smart as you.

When talking to my mechanic buddy, I said to him that this car probably just has a Ford V-6 like any other Ford sedan underneath. He said "pop the hood and I'll be able to tell you immediately". I did so and he instantly said..."no, that's ALL Jaguar there".......pointing to the twin camshaft covers on each bank of cylinders and the words "24 Valve".

In another incarnation long ago Harry almost had me getting a Skyline.

well, its no skyline , but at least it's black
Good looking car, I've a bit of a soft spot for them myself. congratulations.

The awesomeness that is the internet!

Just look in the right places and you find answers. Just learned that all I need to do is reprogram the key fobs by following a procedure that I got the PDF instructions online to do. That's a relief.....

I will let you know Carl. I haven't had a chance to try it yet and it'll take two people to program two fobs since you only have 10 seconds to press all the buttons on them.

Evidently, it "sends out" a signal for that length of time since the instructions say that you shouldn't have any other vehicle within 50 feet while you do it because it'll mess-up the code in the other vehicle's fobs.

Jags just have class. I love 'em; have come within an inch of buying an XKE several times. I'm sure you will be very happy with your new one.

I once owned a Triumph Spitfire; fully restored it, drove it for a couple of years and then sold it. And then just last week I bought another Spitfire made in the U.K., but its not a Triumph or even a vehicle. Its a VOX guitar - their version of the Fender Stratocaster.
