Sorry :y2:

Beautiful job Harry! Watch out for the slippery slope...then the wheel...head light area...engine....pipes....rear wheel. It doesn't stop. :y45:

Thats what worries me Bryce
as I said, now the wheel doesnt look so good.Trouble is,theres a lot of the wheel that is not smooth,so that will be a huge amount of work to get it it right.

For some silly reason Triumph decided on the later models of the america and speedmaster (mine is 07 )to change from a painted finish on the fork lowers to a raw ali look with clear coat over, probably to save a buck or two,as I can clearly state that the finish quality on my 07 isnt a patch on the 04 speedy that I had.
Anyway, wot happens is,the clear coat looks fine until you get a couple of stone chips in it,then the moisture gets behind it and it starts to blister and look horrible
Anyway, after looking at sea dogs fork polishing job,I figured it was time to get on with it. QUOTE]

It's not just the America and Speedmaster that have this problem, my T-Bird is starting to go that way to, it's not as bad as yours got but maybe this time next year I may need to look at doing it tooSAD

touch base when you do Aaron and I'll pass on what I have learnt.

Well, there done and its all back together with a bit of a clean up and new brake pads front and rear .
Great to be back on it.
I managed to restrain myself and just gave the wheel a helluva clean and a lick of wax.I figured stripping the clearcoat of would leave it a nightmare to keep clean.
