Never, ever, hot.

These pies are very solid and rich. There's virtually no space or air in them. One quarter of that is an adequate serving.

SACRILEGE! How can anyone heat a Pork Pie?? And the one in the photo is huge - well enough for 4 people.

Gee thanks Dave, now I have to go find a pork pie for lunch!

There's a small bakery in Sedgefield on the Garden Route who makes the most amazing pork pies - can't wait for our holiday; definitely popping down to the bakery!

Gromit, thanks v much for coming to my rescue!

I get mine at the SuperSpar, Hobart Centre, Grosvenor Road, Bryanston doll. But they don't always have stock SAD!

You're welcome! I almost had heartfailure at the thought of hot pork pie! That Spar is a really nice one. Round the corner from me 'doll' :-)

Well I had to have a pie for lunch today but it was not pork Cornish looked better and it was hot. I don't know the thought of eating a cold pie really does not do it for me unless it is apple pie

So now we know (cold) pork pies and Branston Pickle are food fit for the gods, what other recommendations do you have for food we should try?
