I suggest you add whatever options you want at the dealer and have them install. I just sold an 8 x 20 tandem that had A/C installed by the original dealer along with 110 volt wiring (inside flexible conduit) & lighting. A friend of mind (82 years old) just bought a Can Am Spyder and the 8 x 20 was a perfect fit for the Spyder; he still rides an 1800cc Yamaha bike most of the time. He says that the A/C and lighting are wonderful additions that allow him to work on and clean his Spyder (in comfort)without taking it from the trailer.

Gary, I like the idea of getting the extras done right at the time of purchase. It's a buy once/cry once thing: spend a little more at the front end and you're done with it. Goo don your buddy for still riding, especially that 1800cc monster!

Sarah, I am just throwing this out there for what its worth, I have always had a 6x12 bike trailer all my bike riding life and its been useful for alot of other things too! A few years ago i bought a folding up loading ramp made out of alum. that will fit behind my seat in my GNC 1&1/2 cab half ton pickup truck and its the best thing since sliced bread. This thing comes in two peaces, has a capacity of 1500 pounds, made of aircraft aluminum, its 33 in wide ( you can put feet down at any point in riding up the ramp), it has more advantages than disadvantages for example, don't need a spare tire, women can back up a truck better than they can a trailer (no offense), you don't have to ride around looking for a place to park at Wal Mark, one less tag, don't have to look in your r. mirror as much, i personally think your bike is less steelable.( i don't think that is a word) and you have to have ramps for a trailer too. But its not enclosed, thats one of the thing i like adout a trailer. Also the ramps might be heavy for you, it doesn't brother me but that might be a draw back for you. One thing i dearly love about using the ramps when i get home i can drive into my car port get out and worry about all that mess tomorrow! One other thing , its way cheaper. Just something to consider.
