A wee pointer re SD cards

I have noticed on the odd movie here and there, there is a wavy effect, a little like looking through water.
I am now pretty sure that this is down to using low grade sd cards, so when grabbing a card,pay a few extra dollars and grab a better brand name HIGH SPEED card.
After all, once the video is shot,especially if its on an out of town shot, its hard work to re-take it for the sake of a couple of bucks.

I'm told the higher the number the better. My GoPro instructions recommended a minimum number. I think it was 7 minimum.

yup,I actually only read that in the manual after mal and I noticed it on one of the vids.
When we got the cam I just slung in a card that I had lying around, without thinking about it.
We live and learn huh.

I have found the same with my camera had some bad shots coming out and it was due to the card. Always a shame as it will always happen on those special shots

Fortunately I read that before I bought a card for it. Now I just need to try it out.
