I hope I put this in the correct category most of you older guys like myself one of my favorite British bikes from the 60,s & older were the BSAs, Low and behold on the internet they may be coming back Do some of you own research take a look..Will sell for about 5,000.00 The chrome tank with the logo is beautiful, looks very nostalgic,. It lacks a lot of the electronics that most prefer but in my opinion that's better One thing, I don't care for, it only comes in a single cyl. .Lots of vibration which some don't mind,I,m old and like smooth... With the modern Rotax designed engine, I don't think the vibration will be very bad. I've ridden the BMW GS bikes fitted with a Rotax engine and they were very smooth.

Rocky thanks for the reply I am not familiar with this designed engine. Without going into great detail can you explain a bit about it. To tell you the truth I ,ve never hear of it ?? Gene

Just about every engine Rotax has ever built, became iconic for it's excellence.

I have a 2-cylinder 500cc air-cooled Rotax engine in my ultralight. They are the ultimate air-cooled engines to have, from their era.

Rotax engines are also used in self-launching gliders/sailplanes (motor-gliders). These owners do not want to pay and wait in line for tows into the air, but they still want the pleasure of soaring once they are in the air. In their case, they have the added safety of restarting the engines to get out of tough spots when they can't find lift, though most of these pilots treat it as a last resort, just as landing in a field away from the airport is a last resort for pilots of standard gliders.

Details are thin on the ground re the new BSA.....mostly I think it looks great....hate the rear light cluster....angle all wrong.
Re vibrations for the single cyd motor.....I would like to think they will have some sort of balance shafts or the like.

I am in the UK....own a BSA and a upto date Triumph.....I hope the new BSA is a great success.

Going on the market....think they hoped for June.
Good... 79 yoa and getting tired of wrenching my whole life on stuff , working on my old Triumphs. This might be the time to buy one of these new BSA,s. & just RIDE It appears the price will be decent. The engine quality will be ok and of course I,d order one with the chrome tank with the BSA Logo.. Gene
