If you are getting calls from 877-455-7670 do not answer it, it is a scam and they are trying to get your personal information. If you do happen to talk to them, they will not tell you who they are unless you identify yourself first by giving them the information they are requesting. If you are on the National Do Not Call List, report them to the FCC or FTC. Also contact the State if you are on the State's Do Not Call List.

Also to NOT believe anyone who calls and claims they are from Microsoft calling about your computer.

If I'm not expecting a call, or the caller ID shows a name/number I don't recognize, I let the call go to the answering service.
I get 1-800 numbers calling all the time and just let them ring. One called about ten minutes ago.
I'm on the no-call list, but some organizations are excempt from it.

Same here Rocky. . . If I don't know the name or number I don't answer it unless I'm expecting a call that might be from a name or number I don't recognize. Some just don't obey the Do Not Call lists. I'm on the National list and the State list but still get some of the calls.

I got the call from the Microsoft scammers asking about my Windows computer and I said that's weird because mine's a Mac!

We get those scammers in Australia as well and we are on the do not call register bloody annoyiny. One of my friends got sucked in and they accessed his computer and stuffed it then asked him to pay funds. He reported them to our communication authority

So far this month I've won the UK lottery twice, a holiday from some competition and various SIM card winnings totally nearly a million Rand.

This is an ongoing issue that I would have daily. Not so much scammers but these call centers trying to sell me stuff, same with constant SMS. Since I changed over to Samsung on my mobiles I have it sorted. On my private phone the one that was the worst I have enabled blocking mode so my phone will only ring if you on my contact list. The rest go to voice mail. Funny I have not had many voice mail messages as yet

However before that I would never give or confirm any personal information on an incoming call. All they would get was name, rank and fource number

Even though we are on the do not call lists, I get daily calls from 800 numbers. Most do not identify themselves. I don't answer if there is not an identity and I don't answer if I am not expecting a call from that party even with an identity.
