Shane and Rocky, I am sure sorry to hear that you have had a shortened riding season. I could not deal with being unable to ride year round.

I am glad I live where I live - even if I have to curtail my riding in the heat of the summer. I just don't ride from around 11:00 until around 16:00, at least in city traffic. On the road, I can deal with the heat.
I'm still getting out for the odd spin. I did 150 miles around the Lake District yesterday, with 3 friends all on Triumph's. The weather was a bit of a challenge, we had sun, rain, gale force winds, and hale stones, sometimes all at once!

Glad you got in a good ride - even though the weather was not exactly favorable. Really good ride report by the way.

I propose a yearly winter ride at Carl's home, after all he has 2 bikes and a side-hack we can ride.
I will go along with that!
