I saw the last like 10 minutes of a Rugby match on TV the other night...the USA lost. I really didn't have much of a clue what was going on, but the announcers said they could have won it but they blew it right near the end.

shane yup,well done wales

A J tis definetely a game youve got to follow a bit to understand , and even then you need some of the rules and definitions explained first
I'll also admit, if your wathing two lousy teams, or as grommit says, have a ref that wont let the game flow, then it makes it painful to watch.

Great game between Ireland & Wales - really good for spectators. Well done to Wales for pulling it off in the 2nd half! Brilliant tries but you guys need to get more penalties and conversions over - could've run away with the match if the kicking was right.

So France bt Italy, Wales bt Ireland and we won't mention Scotland please.

I think we should start a thread with the Rugby Anthems of the world :y2:

that would be cool !!!!!! and yes we raely do need to sort out our kicking game.

I got the chance to watch 4 games of the Sevens. It didn't take as long to get back in the flow as I thought it would. They need to air more of this series and the others from around the world.

Sevens is brilliant!!!! I enjoy watching our 'junior' Boks play internationals - they've got so much to prove and their ambition is raw - makes for really great rugby. And you can really see the future of the national squad - some of the youngsters are amazing!

yup, we just had the sevens in wellington here last weekend, and some damn fine rugby there was to.
Grommit, our sevens players are by no means juniors, and even have the odd all black jumping in for a bit of hard training. They are a completely separate entity with their own identity, coaches and styles of play. In fact, I would love to see our sevens coach have a bit of a go at the blacks backs and wings occasionally.

I should've split the sentance. I know 7's aren't juniors and a full separate team & tournament but I do also like to watch our junior Bok squad play - 2 separate things.

Anybody watching the Las Vegas :y68: Sevens?

The Group winners are New Zealand, Fiji, South Africa & Kenya.

I'm getting all my household chores done now so that I can watch it. Go Bokke! (They won this tournament last year).

Bloody hell 4 pages on Rugby before England was mentioned, 2 out of 2 aint bad for a new team which the media had compared their first game too a pack boy scouts entering the roughest Scottish pub . Well dib , dib , dib the Boy Scouts kicked arse in that pub :y2:

Best game so far has got to be the Taffys V Paddys
