Missed it but then I don't really do cricket a tad slow at times

Come on Dave, it's a game for cultured colonial gentlemen such as Devo and myself.
Sure sometimes the commentary team can spend a couple of hours talking about the seagulls and if one actually moved or not but that part of the thrill.

I will never forget in the one TV broadcast they were talking about the team members as normally and zooming into them. Then the camera man zoomed into a bird walking on the pitch so the commentator without out skipping a beat says something along the lines of "and here we have a bird" true British dry style I almost split my sides laughing ROTFL

I've listened to them talking at length about slight variations in seagull plumage during slow periods of play, particularly when the spinners are on and the batsman is focused on survival rather than runs.

Hey that's Farside's best friend too :y2: He even owns a 1sq inch plot of the JD distillery and is a member of the Gentleman Jack 'exclusive' club with the little black & gold membership card and everryfink!
