Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knows of a good place to find a front twin rotor hub or complete wheel off of a 1998 or so Triumph Thunderbird Sport. I have looked on E-Bay and found single disc units. I have also tried places like www.bikebandit.com and they only list the entire wheel new. I would prefer a used complete wheel but just a hub would do. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Street…

Don't forget that the front wheel on the "Sport" was a smaller diameter than the Legend or Thunderbird, so lacing this hub to the larger wheel rim may present some issues. You will also need the "Sport" lower fork slider with the provision for the second caliper- and the caliper itself. And the forks on the "Sport" have damping adjustment- so "different"- and sliders may not interchange. So, buying a complete front assy. may be the ticket, plus hub/wheel, plus brake bits=$$$$$!
I too, have envisioned doing this but even using Ebay used parts the cost is pretty steep and may not outweigh the benefits of improving the single disc set-up. But please let us know/give details if you do this!
