Hellow from Oklahoma. I am 61 years old and have been riding since I was 14. Owned most makes of bike during that period. I now have a Ural Gearup with sidecar and a 1961 BMWR69S. Recently purchase a 1978 Bonneville. It was last tagged in 1986 and has sat in a shed for the last twenty five years exposed to the elements. Motor, brake cylinders, calipers and carbs were frozen. Sad shape. I have broke loose everything and stripped to the frame. I am in the process of a complete rebuild. I have done this before and I almost like working on them as much as riding. I will send before, during and after pictures. I look forward to being a member.
Thanks Ron

Hey Ron and welcome to TriumphTalk from another '78 Bonnie owner from Pittsburgh. :y2:

We look forward to hearing about the rebuild process and we absolutely LOVE pictures. In fact, we have a saying here that without pictures, it never happened...LOL!

TT is a very friendly and helpful place...so by all means don't be bashful!
