Check out the "Grandfather" of the vertical twin model that put Triumph on the map -- the 1938 Triumph Speed Twin. Prior to WWII, the 500cc 1938 Triumph Speed Twin set the standards for speed, handling and reliability among mass-produced bikes of the time.
