Your bike is a Triumph badged BSA, the best books I know of are by Rupert Ratio.

While the relevant book will advise it also, bank on replacing the plain bigend bearing with a better one (not difficult), and probably the conrod. 250 cc was the UK learner limit but for some reason BSA thought it would be a good idea to put a whitemetal o_O bearing in an engine that would be thrashed mercilessly ...

In the US, Peter Quick, BSA Unit Singles is likely to become your new best friend. :cool:
