Has anyone used/tested an aftermarket's heated seat ''pad''?
No, not much use here in Texas. Still I suppose there might be at least two days out of the year I could. LoL. Is there a particular one you’re looking at? Is there an auxiliary power port already on your motorcycle or do you have to install one?
You could try to simulate the thickness with some fabric and padding. I don’t know if the possibility that something might shift that’s on the seat. Inside might feel better to me. Interesting problem.Power port for seat heating? I do not think so. My Tiger is 2013 year model. That feature (even as an options) came later (I think). So I'm thinking very cheap solution.
Ok, I know those tend to be waste of money, but anyway.
So something like these:

Maybe I could install (and hide() the heater pretty easily if I would also buy something like these (avoiding any bigger operation of the seat)?
Simply installing the heater between the cover and the seat?
The first one (heater) looks too thick (for that) but two others looks pretty thin. Or do you think the seat would feel too uncomfortable after that?

Lastly, I have two seats ... the original and a low seat (which I use). So theoretically I could also open than normal seat, make it as low as the low seat and the same time install this kind of heater inside of it. Use another as warm season and another as it is colder. But that should be done by some professional motorcycle upholsterer. To make it well.
Makes sense. It would not be a good idea to put that inside of the foam. It should be close/just under the seat cover to be able warm the surface of the seat. Ok, I pulled the tricker. I will test the red color one. Installing it at next summer season (one of the boring/rainy days).Under the seat cover would probably be best. Having the switch up where you can access it and see it is best.
