Does anyone know what was the last year the "new" Bonnie's had the 360 crank?
Thanks, I have a friend who is trying to track down a 360 but was not sure what the last year it was available.2015 would be my guess
I would go do a parts number check to verify. What year is the Bonnie? Also engine number would be helpful. With that info a check by year should reveal for sure if a newer year crankshaft is a match. Thanks, I have a friend who is trying to track down a 360 but was not sure what the last year it was available.
Thanks for your response. I'm not sure you understood my question. I am trying to figure out the last model year Triumph sold the Bonnie with a 360° crankshaft in the US market. Your thought to look up part numbers is a good one. Thanks, MarkI would go do a parts number check to verify. What year is the Bonnie?
My thought was that by knowing the model year of the bike known to have a 360 crank and engine number, you can then check the parts numbers by year and see the last year the crankshaft is used. I briefly looked using 2005 as a starting point and compared to 2015. There’s two crankshaft numbers given and each is linked to an engine number. By 2015 one of the crankshaft numbers changed. So if you have the original engine number and year you can follow the crankshaft number by year. I was assuming your friend is looking for a used part and is hoping to find one. Anyway that’s what I would do if that’s the case. Thanks for your response. I'm not sure you understood my question. For instance my Thruxton 2005 Thruxton has a 360 crankshaft and the same crankshaft number appears on Bonnies in a specific engine number range. I didn’t verify my engine number, but could to see which number to follow. I’m guessing the original engine number is the critical to start the search.

You can plug in years and change the model to match the original Triumph. Note my search had 360, that’s meaningless since the engine number is the key.
My posts were a guess at the OP posts intent to find a 360 crankshaft. If that wasn’t the case, ignore. LoL.
