I’m contemplating an exhaust upgrade during the winter months. Spotted this one by ZARD.

Has anyone had experience with it? I quite like that black coating. Videos I’ve seen with the stainless ZARD exhaust are pleasing to the ear :)

Thanks for the feedback. I’ve never had an issue with heat from my Scrambler (unlike the Harley Sporster I had that left a permanent burn mark on the inside of my lower leg).

I agree that the Scrambler high pipe is more aesthetically pleasing and plan on going that route, not knocking the low pipe and do see its benefits but it’s just not for me.

My wife’s 2015 Ducati Urban Enduro Scrambler has a lower pipe, it works good for her although changing the oil is a pain in the ass (gotta remove the majority of the exhaust system to access a cylindrical pre-filter).

Hondas new CL500 has a seriously Fugly setup that starts low then goes high. Looked at one for the wife and quickly realized it looks like her Ducati with Honda badging and a seriously Fugly pipe.

I lucked out and found the pipe from a C 2020 with no Cat- it has a much more pleasing sound and the exhaust is for sure quieter. Might be my imagination but it does feel lke it’s pulling a little quicker.

To reduce the heat from my XC high pipe with cat in the can I ordered a set of Arrow pipes from Triumph Cleveland (@$799) (A9680022). It seems some Arrow pipes were designed for early 1200 Scram w/front mounted cats. The '23 XC had a cat in the cans so by using the above PN you let the cat out of the bag. Bolt on, no ECU codes. The 20 minute tune for sure. The Exhaust Pipe Protector Heat Guard Cover mounts mid pipe cover for further heat reduction. FL gets hot in the summer but the pipes are tolerable with these mods.
