Has anyone made any adjustments to the standard "can" to give it a more distictive note, please? Also, I understand that the bike does a self diagnosis after a mod if needed, how does this work, please?

Dont know anything about can mods for the 900 ..... but the Triumph 12 minute tune is well documented , basically start the bike (do not touch the throttle or controls) leave the bike run till the fan kicks in and then leave the bike run for 12 minutes after that .

My opinion is, you get what you pay for. Everybody is looking for a free upgrade. Spend some money and buy a new exhaust. ...J.D.

Thanks Wire-Wheels from the USA. I want to keep the bike looking as standard as possible, thus the question. I was hoping there may have been a removable baffle or similar. The USA, what a great country for motorcycling.....

Most modern Triumphs have a self tuning mode in the ECU so it can tweak its own fueling if it detects its running is not quite optimal .

I reckon someone is pulling your leg at your expense that's 24 minutes of fuel you burnt going no where,,,who ever came out with that must be falling about laughing at everyone,,,
OK then can you show me the proof please!!!!
You've not been around much then ? ... do you know what the o2 censor , lambada and TPS combined with the ECU do ?

Not a clue mate just seems a bit far fetched to me but I will ring up Triumph dealer to find out what they have to say as they should know yes ??
Go for it !
It is a well known fix if you've done any intake or exhaust mods so the ECU can adjust for the new parameters.
