Anyone have experience with the triumph comfort seats?
She wants an upgrade as the standard one not good for here.
Or corbin?
Thanks

I put a mustang seat on mine. Very comfortable. The back side is never an issue. Rode 1000 mile trips and still that area is not an issue. A little pricey but worth every penny. And they look good

I have a Triumph comfort seat on a Bonneville T120. It is thicker than the standard but still looks original. The comfort is only a slight improvement. If keeping an original appearance isn't important I think you would be better off looking to the aftermarket.

would also be interested in any finds for T120 TIA

I wish Mustang offered seats for Triumphs, much better product than Corbin
Mustang makes seats for them. For some reason at their site they don't show an option for my 2013 triumph speedmaster. Now if I search for the part number of what I have (76018) I find it and it says it is for 03-08. But mine fits mine perfectly. I entered my bike at denniskirk.com and a few of them come up that says "exact fit". I bought mine on ebay after I found the part number. Not sure what years you are looking for.
I kind of wish I would have bought the 79005 for the extra back support on the long rides.

I have a R3GT, only Corbin makes a seat.

I found my 2016 speedmaster’s original seat incredibly uncomfortable after only about 40 miles riding. Admittedly this is partly due to age and a worn out backside.
Saw an advert on eBay from a parts dealer somewhere in London for a “Comfort Seat” and took a punt. The seat is an original seat that has had the cover removed and additional foam and a new cover attached. It has been well done and I suspect by a professional, but could have been by a very competent amateur. I am very pleased with the comfort it provides and because it has an original base it fits on in exactly the same way as OEM, whereas the aftermarket seats seem to fit differently and not use the clip on pillar with the ring pull to release.
I suggest looking for a professional seat restorer to modify your existing seat.
In the photos you can see how thick it is, particularly noticeable for the pillion. The original fits well below the backrest.
