I sold my 2012 Thunderbird 1600 last week and have purchased a 2020 Bonneville T120. I've searched the Triumph site and while they offer panniers, they do not sell a cargo/top box. If anyone has fitted one on their T120, I'd be interested in what you found that worked well with the Triumph luggage rack. Was it an exact fit (I don't want a "universal fit" that I would have to modify) or did you have to purchase another rack and box to fit the box, e..g. Givi, Shad, etc. If you have a website or could let me know who you got it through I'd appreciate it. Thanks in advance. Joe S.

I used the universal plate clamped to the standard triumph flat rack. No modifications required, direct mount to rack. You can barely see it in the left picture. The box is on bike number 3, I've had the box since 1998 and it's been easy to move the base plate from rack to rack.

Finished up some spring mods and took a picture showing the mounting plate on the rack.

That looks great and what Windshield is that? Looks great too, how do you like it?
Windscreen is a Slipstreamer Spitfire. It can cause some helmet buffeting above 80 MPH (130 KPH). It works well for me in the 50-75 MPH range I ride.

Hadn't heard of that one I'll look for it. How tall is it? I'm 5'8" was thinking a 20".

I'm 5'7" with a 28" inseam (somebody forgot when they built me to give me the right size legs for my body) The wind screen is 17" OAL, 15" from the headlight notch to the top. Playing with the tilt moves the smooth air pocket. Larger probably would work better, but I just wanted to get rid of the naked bike wind without it looking like a barn door. here's a link to a smoke color one.

Thanks, I just put the sw-motech bars on but not crazy about them, had to add spacers to the bottom and replace the original bolt.

I fitted a GIVI SR6410 rear rack + E251 Universal MONOKEY® plate for my V47 Topbox

Been using top box for past 10 years... simply swap it between bikes...
Cant go wrong with a topbox, waterproof & lockable.. with or without panniers = happy days :)

I adapted a givi tank lock ring to the rear cargo plate of a street scrambler. That might be an option if you can arrange something similar
