The colors are from 2 different bikes; I am color blind but the guy who painted it said the silver was stock triumph but the green(what i think is green) is OE BMW paint, not sure which year/model.

In the pictures at least, it looks like it's silver and gray....not green. But computer monitors can play games with subtle things like that. It could be a very pale champagne-green.

Here is a picture that was not taken with my cell phone so maybe it looks "green" now, it is one of the pictures the guy took who sold it to me. It may not be green but I think it has to have some kind of weird color in it other than grey.

Now that the wheel is complete, I have to change out the front engine mount, someone drilled a hole in the center for some reason. If you look close you can see it in the picture with the grey rim. It sticks out like a sore thumb to me.

I found the left and right plate on ebay but I will have to refinish them when it gets warmer if I win the auction.

You could simply have the holes filled with weld, grind them smooth and you will never know there was a weld. Very cheap fix. Well done, nice looking bike.

Oops yes I missed that but I do sometimes find helpful advice from old posts so my excuse has to be that someone else may have a similar problem. I'm sure lots of people have holes where they shouldn't be.
