Black Friday dawned bright and partly cloudy. Comfortable temps and light breezes. Five of us inclusing Mabel, my wife, attempted to depart for Oak Hill at 10:30 AM. It is an easy and pleasant one hour ride via back roads to Osteen and the Osteen -Maytown Road to Oak Hill. However, Hal’s bike would not start. He and Budd found the charging system was not working. Budd took him home to grab his Buell and we got underway about 11:00 AM. Thus it was 12:05 PM when we arrived a Goodrich’s. We have been to Goodrich's before, it is a favorite.

There were eight other MSTA riders including spouses already there and seated when we arrived. I had never had the pleasure of meeting any of them before. They were from Ocala, Lakeland, Edgewater, and New Smyrna. Altogether 13 of us enjoyed delicious seafood on the patio at Goodrich’s. Other riders opted to picnic and a nearby park.

We socialized and got know one another long after we had finished eating. The patio on the intracoastal wateray was very pleasant with sunshine and cool breezes. A good ride with old friends, a great lunch with new friends is a superb way to spend the day after Thanksgiving.

Keep tormenting us with the great pics of all the cool places, Carl. It's going to be a looooonnnnnng winter.
A few peeps around the Maritimes are still braving the cold and riding here yet. When I start shiftwork for snow removal, the bike is stored.
