Yesterday a friend and I did a 259 mile ride for an MSTA luncheon in Ellington. We left at 0820; the temp was 74 F, comfortable riding. As usual, once we got off of I4, we took rural back roads some of which I had not been on for thirty years. We ate at Woody's River Roo Pub and Grill. I had a blackened grouper "roobin" sandwich with fries and real key lime pie. Delicious. Elise rode over from Ft Lauderdale and joined us. She is an 80 year ol lady who has 96,000 miles on her Honda,. Going home we varied our route and stayed on back roads until we had to get on I4. It was a good ride and we hit no rain.
