Shaun64, I did put the part number in Triumph website and the instructions looked easy enough for wiring it to the headlight wiring harness. The control switch instructions and part number have eluded me. I did notice that one has to manually be sure to turn off the fog light switch when you turn off the run switch. I’m guessing that it is still separate from the power / ignition switch. Here in the States we have a kill switch under the left tank area that if one gets in the habit. That would prevent a unintended consequence battery drain.
I can't speak to accessory fog lights, however the fog lights that came with my 19 x r t are awesome. If you're going to add the triumph fog lights I would expect you would have the same good experience I have.
