As you can see from my other thread I had to send back this cam SJCAM M20

So now I am looking at a possible GoPro but they almost double the price so I need to be sure if it will work for me. So if anyone here has one and has suggestions on them I would appreciate it.

The only suggestion I have is I WANT ONE TOO!
Think they are probably the best and have lots of accessories.
Pricey? Definitely. Worth it? Probably.
Sometimes the old adage is accurate. You get what you pay for.

Shipping cost are getting out of this world.
It took a long time, but now there are several online motorcycle suppliers in Canada and there isn't much we can't get here now.
Before that It was usually from the U.S., and even then shipping was almost as much as the item if it was a small order.
With our devalued dollar against the U.S. dollar cross-border shopping is almost a thing of the past when you add in shipping and losing 25 cents on every dollar FACE

I was just looking on Amazon again and the GoPro Hero 5 price is far cheaper than what I can get it here. The problem is this only comes with one battery and they sell the batteries separately but don't ship them to my side.

I have 2 GoPro cameras and have never had any problems with them. My second one was a gift and not the better of the three versions out at that time. It was still probably better quality than the knock off brands. I wish I could purchase another one, I like the improvements.

Is there no place to buy a second battery there or is it outrageously overpriced?

I have looked and the price once a vendor gets it here almost doubles and at times even more.

Edit - I have just located a camera shop in town that has them at a reasonable price :Champ:

I've been using the ION range for about 3 years now, starting with the SpeedPro, (which I loved) then bought an AirPro then AirPro3. I use all 3 cameras as they do 60FPS HD and 30FPS FHD which enables some slow motion stuff with editing. These cameras are aerodynamic on a helmet and light which I love as I've had bulky square cameras before.
The SpeedPro I paid $130AU then $30AU to ship it from Canada. The two AirPro's I bought in Australia on Ebay for $300 the pair with all accessories.

This is the first I have heard of this range so I am also going to check them out, thanks

After looking at a few camera options I think I will go for the GoPro Hero 5 Black as it seems to cover everything I would need. The Hero 7 Black the stabilization has been upgraded and it really does make a difference from what I can see but then the jump in price is also a bit high for my pocket. So once the return of my other camera has been processed I will order the GoPro Hero 5 Black

Well I bit the bullet today and ordered the GoPro Hero 7 Black and it comes with a few extras that I would not get this side for a higher price than what I paid on Amazon. I just know if I went for the Hero 5 I would have regretted it in the long run.

I also ordered the accessory kit that has many cool attachment options

So now it is a case of hurry up and wait BGRIN
