I wanted to reduce the chance of being rear-ended, as happened recently to SarahP, so I went looking for flashing SuperBright LED brake lights for motorcycles. I found this manufacture, there might be others, that looks to have good reliable product.

Well, I've been on vacation this week so I finally got around to installing the lights I talked about above. There are blocks of LEDs on either side of the license plate and a red/white LED at each top corner of the license plate. The white LEDs provide more light to the license plate, and the reds are also brake lights. The blocks of LEDs will flash 4 times and then stay solid. First photo is running lights only, and the second is the brake lights. One thing I liked about the installation was the new type of wire splices that were provided.

I like these ones that you have installed as they seem small but highly viable and by the looks of it easy to install. Looking at the other links provided there sure are a few options available that one can use.
