Today I put on the Highsider bar end mirrors. But on each end of the handlebars, there was a little stud. These studs would have created a little gap between the mirrors and the end caps. So I flexed the studs off, without any problems.

Still need to get an adapter and a screw from the dealer, but that can wait a few days.

Almost forgot... Exchanged the brake fluid reservoir for the aluminium version sold by Triumph. Saw the ones made by Rizoma today ... kind of regret this one. Maybe on the next service, I'll swap it for the WAVE (no ugly writing on the cap, smaller, more beautiful) or the Beringer break leaver with an integrated break fluid reservoir.

Nice mod TUP
That's one thing that puts me off on many of the new bikes - that ugly and cheap looking brake fluid reservoir.
To me at least, it looks awful sticking up there in the air spoiling the look of the front end.
On another forum I belong to somebody likened it to a urine sample container BGRIN
Surely, a metal low-profile unit could be fitted for only a few extra $$$ on the MSRP.
Once you're paying thousands for the bike anyway, what's a few extra $$$!
I really like that Beringer unit TUP

Today I found my old tire pressure monitor and it is still working. Since my BMW has a built in monitor, I didn't use it for more than a year. But with the new bike in the garage, they have a purpose once again! Works out of the box, plug and play...

Please note: The tire pressure shown on the front is not right, the battery in the first plug was dead, so I'll replace it asap...

Hmmmm.... found a producer of chromed letters and asked them for a quote. But: They are only producing 250 pieces or more. Thinking about doing it anyways and selling the rest on eBay. the question is which version ... Since it is 250 pieces and I only need 2, I'm going to put the rest on eBay I guess. The sign on the Street Twin/Cup as well as the 2017 T100 says "Bonneville 900HT". This is why I'm considering the "Bonneville 900" version, it could fit the whole range of bikes with the new 900cc engine. On the other hand, I'm not sure if T100 owners will be proud to admit, that it is a 900cc engine and if Street Cup owners want say they own a Bonneville. But choosing the Street Twin version poses the risk that there are not that many people wanting to paint the street twin side covers.

(this small detail on the bike is killing me... seriously)
