T100 Bonneville Black
I was looking for performance modifications for my Bonneville T100 2011 865cc motor and found some information On Triumph Rat n improving the air intake by installing Street Triple Throttle bodies which are 44mm compared with 36mm standard.

This with matching the intake manifolds or replacing them with the TPUSA manifolds available, improving head porting, cam timing, and a 904 big bore kit with higher compression Pistons.

From the article and information I have found with similar mods apart from Cams the fellow obtained 95hp at the rear wheels which is a fantastic HP gain over standard.

I have purchased the Street Triple Throttle bodies and and ordering the bits and pieces and plan to install after Autumn when the weather deteriorates towards winter nod will keep you posted.

Hi Carl I will keep you posted on the out come. Just found a magazine article with the proposed spy pics of possibly the 2016 Triumph Bonneville which appears water cooled and possibly a larger capacity.

Bugger them for this ha ha.......now to make a decision modify or wait till next model?

I think I will modify as the price lost with selling and purchasing a new bike would be high and I can't see the new Bonneville putting out much more power maybe even less......and not sure on that radiator....mmmmm what to do what to do!

I don't remember if Greg did that mod or not. I found a wrecked Thruxton with the engine undamaged and bought the engine. I put the jugs with pistons on my 03 and used my Bonneville head. This gave me a 900 cc engine - the same as a big bore kit would yield.
