I've read anywhere from 155 KPH (95 MPH) from a guy in Europe to 130 MPH est. I would have to disagree. It was still pulling hard at 120 MPH in 6th gear when I backed off.
Doing the double ton (that’s the metric version 200kph – 125mph) has been on my bucket list for a while & a few weeks ago on a quiet open rode I slowly wound the Tiger up thru' the gears. Picked up a slight weave at 195 but managed to push on to 205 still had about 1/8[SUP]th[/SUP] of a turn left on the throttle so I would think that 215-220 is achievable.
In my location being caught at that speed means you spend the night in jail & receive a fine equivalent to 4 months pension. Not sure if 'twas on my bucket list your honor' would be an acceptable line of defence.![]()
