I've read anywhere from 155 KPH (95 MPH) from a guy in Europe to 130 MPH est. I would have to disagree. It was still pulling hard at 120 MPH in 6th gear when I backed off.

The Green Goddess has broken the ton a few times I can't give an exact figure as I was just trying to hold on at that point (buffeting at that point is AMAZING)but do know the needle had passed the 110 mark before I throttled down.
This site claims (as do others) the top speed of a stock 955i to be 133 mph (GiGi is not stock there fore should exceed the 124-133 estimated speeds) .................a 1200 cc (thats 7 years newer) MUST be at least that or more. :y2:

However I can't find anything in writing claiming higher than 130 for the new BIG kitty. Could be the added weight and all the really cool standard accessories like shaft drive, ABS etc. may offset the difference in increased hp to keep things all even steven around the 130 ish mark????

Doing the double ton (that’s the metric version 200kph – 125mph) has been on my bucket list for a while & a few weeks ago on a quiet open rode I slowly wound the Tiger up thru' the gears. Picked up a slight weave at 195 but managed to push on to 205 still had about 1/8[SUP]th[/SUP] of a turn left on the throttle so I would think that 215-220 is achievable.
In my location being caught at that speed means you spend the night in jail & receive a fine equivalent to 4 months pension. Not sure if 'twas on my bucket list your honor' would be an acceptable line of defence. :y2:

:y13: Bad Les Bad bad Bad, hope it was fun though BGRIN

I have never wanted to go that fast it sort of scares me a wee bit :y10:

Fast is liberating and the faster I ride the cooler I feel, meaning not sweating to death. I always ride with full kit. Boots, gloves, jacket, helmet of course.
I dress for the crash, not the ride.
