Yamaha & Kawasaki purchases

Bought a Yamaha two weeks ago and a Kawasaki yesterday. The Yamaha is a 115 hp 4 stroke outboard on a 29' pontoon boat and the Kawasaki is a 900cc Jet Ski.

Also bought another Kawasaki V twin mounted in John Deere X360 Lawn Tractor.

All are for a retirement home I have purchased on Crown Lake in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; way up the Ozarks where there are no straight or level roads. My Bonnie will love it there.

My house is right on the lake; I own the land all the way to the water's edge and I have 300' feet of lakefront and my own dock. I have always dreamed of going out my back door and fishing off my own dock.

I have to work until the end of 2015 and until then i'll have two house notes and two households to maintain. I plan to have the lake house paid off in 4 years and my present home sold before I retire. Hopefully, the world won't end in 2012 and I'll make it to my rocking chair.

Very nice, Gary. Congratualtions! That sounds like my idea of retirement. I would need a winter place in Florida. The winters in the Ozarks are way too cold for Mae Lyne.

I have a similar cottage property on a lake about 30 minutes from the city.
It's great to be able to get away from the city when we feel like it.
This is the Victoria Day holiday long weekend and traditionaly it's cottage opening weekend in Canada, but with all the cold wet weather we've been having this year it can wait for a while.
