Something that you may enjoy reading. Burt Munro and my Granfather were great mates. They raced & built/tuned motorbikes together.

Very cool thanks for sharing. Like (I assume) most Americans I had no idea about Burt or his story until the Anthony Hopkins Movie. But have been a huge fan and read up on all I could since. It is REALLY cool your grandfather and him where mates.

I wasn't aware that grandad & Burt knew each other until mum's cousin was researching the family tree and came upon this magazine aticle. I remember the rotary engine being in dad's cellar but not the history behind it.
