Looks like I put my winter gear away too soon . . . we have a cold front headed this way. The expected temps for Wednesday and Thursday are to not get above 22c :ice: . . . I'm gonna freeze to death, hopefully I'll make it to Friday and proper weather for this time of year with temps right around 30c.

Dang light company, get off your butts and get my lights back on!!! Little bad weather barrels thru here this morning and they can't keep my lights on. :furious:

I did my part, I kept the units on line thru the worst of it even after having a couple 4160V motors hit by lightning. You would think they would repay the favor and have the juice flowing at my house. And what do you want to bet that they expect me back at work tonight? They need to do something so I can get some sleep, the front ain't here yet and it's getting s little warm in my bedroom.

I suppose there was a motorcycle in there somewhere, but I didn't see it............but I'll keep looking :y150:

It's barely above freezing here today and the rain is mixed with wet snow.
Will the punishment ever cease :y40:

I think it's Winter's last kick at the cat all over. 30 cms of snow out in Eastern Alberta and Saskatchewan yesterday as well as Cape Breton Island.
Not very warm around here either. Below 0 Celsius at night and rain and wet snow at times here with day time highs below 10 C.
This keeps up I'm getting my bike tires studded and wearing a Ski-Doo suit so I can ride sometime this year.

I lost some sleep because of all the noise from the cleanup. :y2:

Property wise, leaves all over the roof and a bunch of branches scattered across the yard.

Still no electricity, dang light company. They are saying it could be another 30 hours before our power is restored.

Be grateful for small mercies I guess.
Sounds like you got off pretty easily - all things considered.
When Hurricane Juan hit us 10-12 years ago we lost power for six days, but it was a mild September so no real hardship.
I broke out the Coleman stove on the back deck and we went "camping" again BGRIN

We had an up date on the power, looks like we will have power again in another 3 to 4 hours. The cold air is blowing in today so it hasn't been too bad. . . Other than the noise. Kim's contractor showed up for the remodeling.
