This afternoon we went to my cousin's wedding, it was held at a cliff top restaurant above our town. A great location, I've been there many times but never considered it as a wedding venue, it worked out to be a good decision.

When we arrived at 4.00 PM a flock of about 20 sulphur-crested cockatoos flew in.

A small (about 6ft) diamond python came out of the bush and crossed the path in front of the restaurant, not one of the 80 guests were concerned, this surprised me as I figured at least a couple of the women may have let out a scream.

My cousin and his bride, tomorrow they are off to Bali for 2 weeks, good for them and good luck.

We were home by 10 PM, the younger ones all came back down onto the coast for a big night at a local club, I'm way past that kind of thing. SAD

That looks like a beautiful setting. Good pics. TUP

I can relate about the nights out on the town. I used to be able to do that...

It sure is a great spot Carl.

It's 1,000 ft above sea level and about half of it is a straight drop behind that hand rail.

My stories are so funny they sent both my son and mother to sleep.:y15:

Now that looks like a great venue to have a wedding, I am also surprised that you did not get at least one person having a fit over the snake :y13:

Yes me too, a couple did ask if it was dangerous, they were told only if you are a small animal such as a mouse or frog. That relaxed them.

What a great venue for a wedding!!! Looks like the weather was great as well!!

Congratulations to your cousin and bride!!
