When It Is Riding Season For Most Of You.

When we NEED a ride we leave early in the morning up into the southern Utah mountains. The 40 miles from St George UT home can be brutally hot. I am comfortable riding between 55 and 100, but 110-115 even with a cooling vest is too brutal for an old dude like me.

Up here in Eskimo land we have to lay our bikes up for 5-6 months because of winter but riding season usually starts around early May until late October - early November.

July and August are tough here , January can be too cold but it can also have 70f+ days

up in the highlands here in Scotland we have a up and down season were you can ride any time of the year weather dependant if your prepared to wash the salt off your bike in the winter , the weather is unpredictable to the point of having sun , rain , wind and snow in the same hour or a combanation of two or three at a time at any ( snow is unusual in summer but not unheard of ) time of the year .
But generally our season is roughly the same as Rocky's .

We lucky it is all year round with our winter daytime temps averaging around 21 degree Celsius = 69.8 degree Fahrenheit it is not uncommon to have them go as high as 30 degree Celsius = 86 degree Fahrenheit during the day.

Today we at 26 degree Celsius = 78.8 degree Fahrenheit and it is mid winter for us.
