well....a few days anyway.
After "enjoying" record high temps and humidity with little to no rain for nearly two months, the weather had moderated almost overnight to being unusually cool.
When I slid out from under the covers this morning I could really feel how the house had cooled down overnight. It was 8C(46) early this morning, but will give way to another sunny and dry day at around 20C(68F) which is normal for this time of year.
Some inland areas were as low as 3C(37F)
If this continues I won't be taking any more early AM rides until the air warms up a bit by mid day
I sounds like madness to say it, but we need rain badly as the forests are tinder dry as are rural wells. Some sections of the province have had dry wells for weeks.
But the wineries and grape growers are loving the hot dry weather and have a bumper crop of grapes to harvest this year so it's not all bad

In the meantime, I'm going to get in some day rides as our riding season is quickly closing. By the end of October I'm usually done for the year.
