Just got a text from B.C. (imagine that ) That dudes a riot.
Anyhoo the poor boy is traveling....in January....In greater Canuckia , and THIS is a road ?!?!?!?!?

More power and God Speed to him.
That is some kinda weather.

I think any road in a northern winter could be called "a nasty stretch".
I've seen snow on TV.

We should put a GPS on that guy, then we could start a new "tag" type game called "Wheres Mary Now"?

I can still swim, the water's 26c and the air is 27c. I was in when the rain hit but my beer got watered down. :y8:

Cheers mate, just a bit of ankle deep water in the lower parts of my block. The creek over the back fence is a banker and will drop back to normal quickly.
Today 26th January is Australia Day so we are off to family for a BBQ and I may even have a little drink of beer.

I am glad you recognize that stretch of road. A few vehicles I noticed used a device to detect and locate the ditches. On some it was the foof, on others the side doors.

Wow neat, good for them ;P Some people sure are fancy.

I'm driving out to Revelstoke in a week or so for some snowboarding, hoping the roads are good for then. I always seem to have bad luck with weather going through Golden, last time it was a rockslide that buried Hwy 1 diverting traffic through Radium, the time before that blizzard....new adventure every time.

You're right, what was I thinking? I'm sure it will be smooth sailing the whole way through.....dry pavement, visibility for miles....
