To us here in the colonies a "caravan" means a line of vehicles travelling together. What the British and others call a "caravan" we refer to as a travel trailer or simply as a trailer.
But in the dictionary a caravan is also defined as a vehicle equipped for living.
When I got back into British bikes in 1992 and began to read British magazines and publications it took me a long while to realize what a caravan was :grin:
I would often read the word but knew it didn't mean a line of trucks or cars. Eventually the light dawned :grin:

I love the old cars and trucks....been to a couple turkey Rod runs with mates of mine that are way into old car/trucks. Me best mate does all the custome work on cars and trucks so he walks around and explains things to me at the shows. I like the looks and say "I like that" but as far as engine and all the rest I dont have a clue.
