Some trees are wilting here already due to the lack of rain. Was Hot and humid here yesterday, today was chilly. Next few days as well. Maybe early Fall here too.

I am ready for some cooler weather too but i am facing the hurricane arrival tomorrow and along with it some tornadoes, I have plenty of fuel, 2 sharp chainsaw's and a 12 pack of beer. Here we go again!
Yep, another hurricane season.is in full force. It is hot here. Marco and Lara have sucked the moisturer way and we are not getting our normal afternoon cooling rains. 94 F/34.4 C again today here.

Here on the Atlantic coast where I am we set high temp records almost every day during July and August - along with wilting humidity.
Then, as it happens every late August, overnight it all went away and we suddenly have fall-like temps and no humidity.
It was an almost cold 13C (55F) by comparison early this morning, but after the sun is well up it will be another lovely and warm day at more reasonable temps.

It was also a very dry summer with little rain. I haven't mowed my grass for several weeks. Rural wells are dry and we really need some rain.
When the tail end of Laura passes over the weekend I think I'll get my wish - I just didn't want it all at once BGRIN

When it rains it pours! :y23: Just be thankful you didn't get Laura a full strength!!

We are not quite that early but i wouldn't be expecting to see the trees the way they are now for another month , i mean we've only just started harvesting the barley and corn !
