My first rabbit I'll pull out on my new T100 (after more seat time) will probably be cosmetic stuff (black out stuff, mirrors, etc.), but thinking ahead, what are some likely packaged scenarios?

Suspension
-Ohlins ? What are the stock sizes? I'm 165lb/5'10" w/o gear.
-front progressive
-fork brace
-gel seat (whew, ordered)

Wheel/tire
-thruxton set?
-anyone make a black/spoke that is pretty close to, if not OEM?

Strikeout (rethinking this):
Stance
-clip ons (I think lsl makes 1"?)
-new grips/levers black!
-rearsets
-relocate ignition
-headlight bracket

Power
-header powder coat (why not)
-exhaust (arrow?)
-airbox removal
-tuning

am I missing anything with these packages?

Should I just have bought a thruxton and a 2up seat?

thanks.

I don't know about the black spokes but you can always get a stock set powder coated if there isn't any available on the market. While you are at it the rest of the wheel & hub can be powder coated too.

Well, maybe you didn't buy the wrong bike. I mean, I have seen others take a bike and totally transform it. I myself had more aftermarket parts on my Harley than came on it originally changed seat(twice), bars, tank, paint, shocks, grips, pipes, carb, air box, mirrors (3 times) tires.........lost the windshield, saddle bags, sissy bar, and basically everything stock, bumped the 883 up to 1200......and after all that work it still wasn't as fast as my stock Suzuki Intruder SAD However I had a blast doing it, and learned A LOT about bikes and repairs in general.
Enjoy and the finished product will be YOURs and totally original. :y2:

Well for some the fun in doing the mods on a bike is about as much as riding it. So you could have just got another bike that already had all this done but then you would have missed out on the fun of making the bike they way you really want it. So be sure to keep us posted as you do the mods as I will enjoy watching it being transformed for sure BBEER

I think I might figure out the strengths/benefits of each platform, and see if I can a) make this work, or b) trade out.

I don't quite know yet.

There are lots of exhaust options out there that are less expensive, are more free flowing, and look better on a Bonnie than the Arrow.

I have never found the need for a fork brace on my T100. I did consider it and decided it was a waste of money.

I agree with your suspension upgrades. TUP

I really didn't mean that you bought the wrong bike.
I have done alot of mods to my T100. I think you should make it the way you want it and not the way other think you should.

had my t100 for over 3 years now and have made lots of upgrades but must say best one for me was to fit hagon shocks wow what a differance then new rubber went over to dunlop road riders much better than the stock rubber asfor pipes had a set of norman hydes left over when i sold my 2002 bonnie also hyde rack both now over nine years old and no rust on either of them couple of marks on pipes from the wifes boots you have to look hard to see them
