Oooh - nice to see the Union Flag on my post, but better if there was a Welsh Dragon. An idea for future consideration? Perhaps too pedantic - will see requests for the English Cross of St. George, Scotland's Saltire (or even the Lion Rampant).......etc. Better leave it as it is

If you like - it was just a spontaneous comment to seeing my first Posting on the Forum. I was born in England but have lived in South East Wales for nearly 40 years. As you will probably know, there is great competition between the English & Welsh (traditionally England better at Football - Soccer - and Welsh better at Rugby) so, being English and living in Wales can be a heavy burden to carry.
If this doesn't cause offence then I will gladly accept the Signature. It can be easily removed (I assume) if anyone objects. I see that I have to have a minimum number of Posts for some Actions - so I had better start Posting. Thanks DaveM - looking forward to reading some Discussion Threads.

England better at football, ROTFLthat load of useless overpaid wally's couldn't kick themselves if they tried let alone a ball.
Nothing wrong with Wales. I rest my case.

Looking forward to some posts of the stunning Welsh countryside, and a shot of Katherine on your bike if she lives near you. :five:

Hi Shanered6 - yes, your logo is a top Welsh moniker. Envious of that but will stick with what I have. Unfortunately, we don't live near Katherine, or move in her elevated circles! No contact with any celebrities but Linda & I went on a group holiday to India with a Producer of "Last of the Summer Wine" - and that was all he did, whine, a very miserable old sod. As for stunning Welsh countryside, I worked up the valleys for nearly 15 years and it is all urban sprawl and roadworks. Once you get past that, north or west, you get scenery but narrow windy roads - not any "A5s" round here! We went to North Wales (in the car) to see one of my wife's relatives (why do they all speak scouse?) and we went M50, M5 & M6. The open, empty roads of France & Spain are more our cup of tea.

Ye I'm from North Wales nr LLANGOLLEN but have been up here in the north east of Scotland for the past 6 years , traffic up here is thought bad when 5 cars arrive some were at the same time  .

My sister lived in Wales in a place called Wrexham Clwyyd (sorry, spelling). She said it was beautiful but the rain finally drove her back to Canada.

Here is a singer I found on youtube. She is not from Wales but here she is singing a Scottish folk song in an English pub
