Unbelievable.....watch this hit and run. I can't believe the woman passenger of the car simply gets out and walks away while the driver takes off in the car!

YEADON, Pa. (AP) — Police in a Philadelphia suburb say they have found the car involved in a hit-and-run that injured a man in a convenience store parking lot, a crime recorded by surveillance cameras.

WPVI-TV reports that a tip led Yeadon (YAY’-den) police to a silver 2007 Dodge Caliber in Philadelphia. Detective Sgt. David Splain says it has damage consistent with the June 9 accident, which injured a 7-Eleven employee.


Police say the owner and driver of the car, 32-year-old Wilaisha Rankins, remains at-large. A passenger in the car surrendered Tuesday. Police say that person is cooperating and likely won’t face charges.


Footage from the store’s surveillance cameras shows the car hitting the employee around 10:30 p.m. on June 9, pushing him into the store. He suffered an injured leg.

It's a common happening here. Both of my sons have a one time had their cars hit and the Mexicans jump out of the cars and run. One was a gang member, was captured after running a long distance and because no one would confirm the action for fear of being attacked was never punished or sent back to Mexico. And we ask why are state getting fed up with the federal government.

I saw a small part of this on the Houston news this morning but didn't hear all they had to say about it. I thought from the clip I saw that the employee was probably worse off. I've got to agree with you Carl, it's the give me attitude that is so prevalent today which leads up or drives so much of what is wrong today.

Watch closely and not only the woman passenger gets out, but some guy bales out of the passenger side rear door while the car backs-up and escapes.

I was wondering what the back door did and was not sure if it just came open with the crash

I don't think the crash was hard enough to pop the back door. There was not a lot a damage to the front end.

No...watch it very closely and you'll see a guy deliberately open the door and bale out form the rear door.
