Your best bet for an Owners Handbook (Manual) is on eBay. I have seen them for sale there.
I hate when people just don't pass them along to the next owner!!

To check your oil level, put the bike on it's centre-stand on a level surface. Next unscrew the black knob on the lower left of the engine (to the rear of left foot peg). Wipe the dipstick clean and the re-insert it and screw it down. Now unscrew it again and see it the oil level is between the two marks on the end of the dipstick.
If it's low add (synthetic) oil a little bit at a time until it is up yo the upper mark. DO NOT overfill it!!! The bike probably won't even start with too much oil. It is better to actually have the level a little bit under the top mark as long as it's not below the bottom mark. Between the two marks is the "safe zone".
You add oil through the same opening the dipstick goes into.
