I’m a newbie with riding. This is my Scrambler 1200XC, it currently has TEC,s two to one exhaust. When I bought the bike it had slash cut pipes, which I still have and will use on short rides. For long multi day rides they are far to loud. As you can see I have panniers and duffel on the bike. All of this is to ask this question about encounters with other riders on other bikes. With that said, this is the reason for the question. I was sitting at a stop light a few hours after this pic when I hear this revving, I look to my left to see this nice looking bright red chopper is turning left into a service station. I got the feeling the revving was a message or I was to respond. I rolled off nice and easy from the stop light. What if anything did that mean or what I was to suppose to do. I’m just wondering.

Interesting. Honestly, I don’t have the experience to know. My suspicion is, it wasn’t anything. Did they hand signal? Usually rider have hand signals for those they approach or such. Perhaps some of the more veteran riders will chime in.

Perhaps a two fingered wave...

It was just one rider no hand signal. I was in a small town in south GA. It could have been another way to do the biker wave. Maybe the right response would have been to rev in kind.
