Just like some of the first words in his vid is he bought it for the sound and smoothness, is the same as me. That beautiful triple soundtrack and the turbine smooth 120 degree firing sequence.
Why did the big T mess with that combo?

ye ! ive never realy got the point of it ? ... they know how to make a twin so why ruin the triple ?

Interesting and informative. The only feature of the new one I really liked was the rims. That’s a cool innovation.

I must admit to liking the looks of the older 800 better than the 900's although i have to say the 900 is the better offroad bike , but the 800 is no slouch offroad ether but it is a better on road bike.... but i am bias !!!

Having had both , the changes and improvements in the new model are to numerous to list . The most appreciated is the lower engine placement which helps with a lot of things and perhaps allows me to get both boots fully down at stop signs despite my 29 inch in seam . It’s less top heavy for sure and I’ve grown accustomed to the wanky crank , some say the vibes lessen as the miles pile up .
