actually, thinking about it for a bit, with the speedy and america at about 17k nz and the rockets between 28 and 30k nz, the T Bird is quite reasonably in the middle, so will probably sell ok.

You kiddin?! It won't "probably" sell ok, it will fly off the showroom floor ! This is the cruiser every triumph cruiser guy has been waiting for. there are so many reaons i won't go into it. But as i've said before, this is the only time i have seen a new triumph model sell so many bikes before it's even out via pre orders. On every triumph forum i have seen guys stating they put a deposit down on one, and i'm not just talking a few people. This bike has everything the rocket guys wanted except the extreme power, yet from all i've read it seems to have even better torque in that it comes one so low. But in a package that looks so much better than the rocket's ugly inline 3 and huge stature. Here we have a torque monster with the traditional triumph P-twin engine in a package thats the same size (width aside) as our 900 cruisers with a finish quality that from all reports from those who have seen it in the flesh rivals harley's finish quality. Not to mention according to that magazine article that just came out, the guy who rode it in so many words said it's a cruiser that handle amazingly. Add all that stuff up and add the fact that $12.5k is on the verge of cheap for any 1600 cruiser, and even w/o all the deposits i've seen on this bike and i just can't fathom how it could NOT sell well.

Of course that said, I AM a bit biased. :ya2:
 
For now maybe, but once i get one and start reporting how incredible it is and all the other owners are chiming in with equally great reviews, you'll figure out a way. May take a while, but that may be a good thing since the eager "cant waiters" like me will work the bugs out for you at our expense. So you're the smart one. Yeah, i know thats you plan. :ya2:
