In the distance is how we got here.

Customary pose shot.

Back on our bikes we continued up tothe top and headed for Muley Point. This was my first encounter with sandy roads.

The Battle Wing tires weren't really designed for this type of surface, and after a few front end wobbles (otherwise known as tank-slappers when I have been recounting this story), I settled into a rhythm and a steady 20 mph.

The view from Muley Point was worth the effort.

After repeating the off-road section, we headed west on Route 163 towards Oi jato-Monument Valley. The rest of the day's riding was fairly uneventful, apart from the scenery which was stunning.
Approaching Monument Valley.
