Trail Rides Headed to Houston

Today is the unofficial official countdown to the World's Largest Livestock Show and Rodeo. . . The local news has started reporting on the trail rides that are headed to town. Depending on which part of the area you are located in, you will be trying to avoid horse $H!T in the roadways for days. The object of all the trail rides is to make it to Memorial Park just off of downtown Houston by Friday evening. On Saturday morning all the trail rides will enter downtown for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Parade.

And leading up to the Livestock Show and Rodeo is. . . THE BBQ COOK-OFF

I think they do this backwards. . . the BBQ Cook-Off is the Wednesday thru Saturday BEFORE the Livestock Show. . . Shouldn't it be the week AFTER the Livestock Show where they cook the losers?
